I do a search for one of these and find out theyre the same price used. And wouldn't one of these just be so much cooler?

Yes, I really like this generation of TT and it has been on my list before.

and less practical, and slower, and fwd, and most likely not a manual.

Yes they look great. Maybe not as fast as the Golf, but neither are supercars anyway. I assume the TT has less usable space in a utility sense.

Haha, I'd personally rather have the Golf R for some reason unknown to me. I'd have to do everything performance on the TT though.

I would want an older TT 3.2 with the manual and Quattro. It would basically be the manual MkV R32 that we never got...

They are just as fast, and you could actually get the MkV R32 with a 6-speed. I count that as an advantage.

I love the old interiors on the TT. It looked sorta cheap, but it also looked nice.
I'm just kind of sick of people saying that the TT is a "Flight Attendants car" Blah blah blah, "Hairdressers car" blah blah blah.

People get all caught up in the image. I'd take one over a Miata every day of the week and twice on Sunday!

Don't tell anyone :) But I've got a list of cars I'd rather have than the Miata. I don't have a problem with them, but I just find them to be a bit overrated.

Does your VAG discount apply to anything other than VW??

Exactly how I feel. I just feel like Mazda never really finished building them. Nothing too compelling, beyond the Mazdaspeed version.

I completely agree, the MazdaSpeed version is the only one that I've somewhat wanted to have. None of the others really do it for me. Not even to mention that they are tiny.

Oh yeah. Definitely smaller than I'd ever be comfortable using as a daily. They make the S2k look cavernous, and thats saying something!

After working on my sister Mazda 3, I would never buy a Mazda. It's a Japanese car put together like a German car using weirdly designed American parts.
